Pagid Street+: street-legal performance pads with racing DNA

Pagid Street+ is the road program of Pagid Racing, the motorsport brand of the TMD Friction Group from Leverkusen. The idea: brake pads homologated for street use that carry construction and friction-material know-how from racing. At RACING23, Street+ is the first fully street-legal pad line in the range - this overview shows what's behind it.
Who is behind Pagid
Pagid is a brand of the TMD Friction Group, one of the largest friction-material manufacturers worldwide, headquartered in Leverkusen. Under Pagid Racing, TMD has developed pads for professional motorsport for decades - from endurance racing to customer sport. Street+ transfers this know-how into a line for the road.
Street approval meets racing know-how
Street+ is homologated for street use and designed to be environmentally compliant: the friction material is low-copper (“cu-free”, under 0.5 percent copper by weight). That sets the line apart from pure motorsport pads, which must not be driven on public roads.
Structurally, Pagid uses a double retention system: the friction material is bonded to the backplate and additionally secured mechanically via a crimped interface - a technique from racing that keeps the joint safe even under high thermal load.
The technology in detail
- Homologated for street use, low-copper (< 0.5 % copper).
- Dual retention system: adhesive bond plus mechanical crimped interface.
- Anti-noise shims and accessory kit for everyday comfort (NVH).
- Friction material stable up to high operating temperatures, with good modulation and controllability.
- Many axle sets with integrated wear warning contact - details are on each article's data sheet.

Daily driving and track days
Street+ is explicitly designed for daily use - comfort, noise behavior and accessories are made for everyday driving. At the same time the line is track-day compatible: Pagid tested it with 18 hot laps at Bilster Berg, among others.
For hard racing with slicks and permanently high temperatures, race compounds such as the Endless and fri.tech. programs remain the right choice - Street+ is the building block for sporty road cars that need to stay road legal.
The Street+ program at RACING23
RACING23 carries the complete Street+ pad program with 229 axle sets plus the Street+ brake fluid. Every product page shows the dimensioned original drawing with WVA numbers, brake system and dimensions - so the set can be matched to the vehicle unambiguously. The fastest route is the vehicle search via HSN/TSN or manufacturer & model.
Frequently asked questions
- Are Pagid Street+ brake pads street legal?
- Yes. Street+ is Pagid's pad program homologated for street use - unlike pure motorsport pads. In addition, the friction material is low-copper (under 0.5 % copper) and thus environmentally compliant.
- Can I take Street+ to the race track?
- For light track days without sustained load, yes - Pagid tested the line with 18 hot laps at Bilster Berg, among others. For harder track days with permanently high temperatures, pure race compounds (e.g. Endless or fri.tech. Competition) are the better choice.
- How do I know which Street+ set fits my car?
- Via the vehicle search by HSN/TSN or manufacturer & model - matching axle sets appear directly in the results. Each product page also shows the dimensioned drawing with WVA numbers, so the pad can be checked against the installed set.
